Executive Director from 2020, Margaret brings a variety of business experience as well as years of volunteer experience here in Nelson, primarily in the schools. She raised her 3 children here in Nelson, and is excited to help families in Nelson as much as she can.

Rose Valentino is a born and raised Nelson County resident. She is a small business owner and is active in the local arts community. Her favorite activities are sewing, reading and enjoying time with her family. She hopes to help foster diverse community involvement in shaping Nelson's future with her work at NCCDF as project manager.

George retired as Executive Director of NCCDF after 22 years. During his tenure, the Foundation created 67 homes and rental units, developed the Nelson Center in Lovingston, and began administration of nearly 200 Housing Choice Vouchers for a three-county area. He loves to travel and is often found checking the wave reports. He will continue to work with us as Manager of Special Projects.

Georgia works as Administrative Assistant helping in the office of NCCDF. Georgia has been working in the Nelson Community for many years, once before at NCCDF as a housing agent and she has also served on the NCCDF board for several years. Georgia is very involved in her church community.

Ceaser was born and raised in Nelson County. He is married with two children and three grandchildren. He retired from the Charlottesville police force after 34 years in 2024. He is the South District representative on the Nelson County School Board. He joined the team at NCCDF to manage rental properties and the Nelson Center which is co-owned by NCCDF and the Jefferson Area Board for Aging. He uses his years of experience in project management and construction to continue to serve the Nelson County community.
