NCCDF & NCCF Accepting Nominations for the Annual Bob West - Sarah Jane Stewart Volunteer Community Service Award
It's that time of year again!
Nominate a volunteer! Do you know someone who should be recognized for their outstanding volunteer service? If so, please take the time to nominate them for our annual Bob West - Sarah Jane Stewart Volunteer Community Service Award. This award has recognized a variety of volunteers in the past, to include those who have worked with the Heritage Center Food Pantry, JABA, the Central Virginia Farm Workers Initiative and the Fleetwood Community Center. Deadline to nominate a volunteer for this award is May 9th, 2025.
Established jointly by the Nelson County Community Development Foundation (NCCDF) and the Nelson County Community Fund (NCCF), this community service award recognizes outstanding volunteer service to the county. Along with this recognition, the recipient will also receive a monetary award in the amount of $1,000. Each year, people are nominated by area non-profit organizations for this award.
