After the rainy spell which has helped our leaves turn so beautiful this fall, we finally had enough clear weather and cool days to put in the foundations. And the buildings are set to arrive next week on November 4. Maybe we’ll live stream them coming in and getting placed on the foundations by crane! I know we all want to watch, but we also don’t want to be in the way. It’s so exciting to see it happen.

The Nelson County Community Development Foundation and the Nelson County Community Fund have announced the 4th annual Bob West - Sarah Jane Stewart Volunteer Community Service Awards. Two recipients, Delores Green, volunteer for Unity in Community; and Kevin Adams, volunteer for the Lovingston Volunteer Fire Department received their awards at the Nelson Center on June 25.
