Studies show that a lack of understanding the process is one of the biggest obstacles preventing people from buying a home. This training series will demystify the process by providing a comprehensive, step-by-step guide covering key topics such as:

  • Understanding and improving credit scores

  • Creating a realistic budget

  • Navigating the mortgage pre-approval process

  • The role of a real estate agent and other professionals

  • What to look for in a house

"Buying a home is one of the most significant financial decisions a person can make, and having the right information is critical for success," said Margaret Clair, Executive Director of NCCDF. "Our goal is to give everyone, regardless of their education or background, the tools and confidence to begin their homeownership journey."

NCCDF is excited to be bringing a very valuable and timely resource to the community.
