Emergency Repairs and Home Adaptations

NCCDF can use a variety of funds including general funds to help Nelson County residents who are faced with emergency situations with their housing. Typically we only assist those folks who own their home, and our emergency repairs can include such projects as roof repairs, septic and well repairs, and electrical repairs. 

Oftentimes, residents will encounter challenges as they age or develop a disability, and we can help them by modifying their home for safety and accessibility. Projects of this type include ramps and bathroom modifications.
