Low-Cost Loans for Home Repair

NCCDF can assist qualifying families to apply for grants and/or low-cost loans for wells, septics and housing repairs through agencies including SERCAP, VHDA and the Department of Agriculture. We can refer you to local contractors, as well.

As a member of the Consortium of Housing Directors of the Thomas Jefferson Planning District (PD 10), NCCDF has access to a state program that provies 0% interest loans up to $70,000 for homes that lack indoor plumbing, to provide bathrooms, install or repair wells and septic systems, and do home repairs. The homes must be owner-occupied and the primary residence.
