Renaissance Ridge is being developed as a unique and special intergenerational housing community made up of custom cottages, homes and condominiums. The community will offer a diversity of housing options, certified energy-efficient homes, renewable solar and smart-home technology, sustainable design, native landscaping, open green spaces and walking/biking trails to help connect the Nellysford community.
The 33-acre site is an ideal location for this community sitting on a rise along the Route 151 Rockfish Valley gateway corridor to the village of Nellysford near many Nelson County tourism and recreation sites. The vision for the community is Livable Sustainability, defined as a development model with an emphasis on the Design, the Environment, and the People.
The Nelson County Community Development Foundation has been working with Renaissance Ridge to make approximately one-third of the units affordable to working families in Nelson. This project has received financing through the state to help households whose income is at or below 80% AMI, to become eligible for special financing assistance. NCCDF seeks to expand housing opportunities for homebuyers within these income ranges and sales prices up to $300K+.
If you are interested in possibly becoming a homebuyer at Renaissance Ridge, please fill out our homebuyer interest form.
